The maintenance and upkeep of our premises is the sole responsibility of the club itself.
In 2017 alone we had two particularly large costs to find. Large areas of the roof had to be re-felted and the carpeting in the main bar area had to be replaced after the floor was repaired in various places.
One of our members made a generous donation towards the carpet renewal and our secretary worked hard to obtain two grants to enable us to carry out the roof repairs.
St. Mary’s Supporters Club would therefore like to thank , not only our donor, but the Sussex Community Foundation and Lewes Town Council for their support in respect of their recent grants which were allocated for this important improvement works and which have now been completed.
